Steps in Medical Web Design Part III

In Part II of this series, the planning stages of designing a professional medical website were covered. In this part, the actual design of the site will be looked at to better understand what needs to be done for the aesthetics of the web site and its usability.

Modeling – Step 3

Medical website design services will start this phase by drawing up several wire frame models of the website. When the website begins to take shape, it is important to assess what you like or dislike about the design. Like conceptualization, it is important to include others in this step to gain a better insight as to how the website looks to a wide audience.

Design – Step 4

When you have found a model for your medical web design that you are happy with, it is time to start designing the site. Using CSS, HTML, and any other technologies required, the site will begin to take shape.

Building web pages – Step 5

Once the skeleton of the website is completed in the design step, it is time to start building the pages. This step includes website copywriting, placing images, and incorporating other technologies. An important aspect of this step is the website’s usability. Make sure that the pages are easy to navigate, that they load quickly, and that they can be read rather easily. This is one of the most important steps in healthcare website development because if your website is not usable, people will not want to return.
